The posting for a new Executive Director received a good response from a variety of candidates. The deadline for these submissions was January 9, 2012. Since that time the Human Resource Committee of the Board has been working through a process to review, short-list and interview candidates. This work is currently underway but is taking longer than originally anticipated to complete. As a result, the objective of having a new Executive Director in place by March 1, 2012 will not be met. Carrie Field and Jason Yule have done a great job of providing leadership during the transition period and we are confident they will continue to do this as we work through our selection process.

We appreciate the continued patience of our staff and volunteers, community partners, funders and donors, and thank you for your dedication to the Society and ongoing support of our community programs and services.
